What’s your dream? How many times we have been asked this question during our childhood and what outcome is expected form a child. Something like – My dream is to be a President or doctor or engineer or pilot or businessman and the list goes on. Have you ever dared to ask your wife “What’s your dream.
Actual struggle only starts after marriage.
- A Cat in the closet
- A Jaguar in the garage
- A Tiger in the bedroom
- And an Ass to pay for all it.
Wife: What is my dream? Honey….. do you know what, sometime back, my teacher also asked the same question when I was in 7th Grade. What’s your dream? And one student whose name was Harish stood up and said. Ma’am my dream is to earn more and more money so that I can buy one Mercedes, one BMW, one Audi, one Jaguar and one Bentley along with five bungalows in different-different posh location to park one car in one bungalow.”
And My teacher got frustrated and irritated. She then asked the students to give reply in one small sentence.
A girl whose name was Monika stood up and said my dream is to be the wife of Harish”
“Another girl, Rita who was the best friend of Monika stood up and said, “my dream is to be a step mother of 5 years old daughter of Harish, after the death of Monika.”
Ladies and Gentlemen, the world has changed. People have changed. In this kalyug, money has become the first priority. One person is doing work hard to earn more and more money with no reason and someone is looking for how to use someone else money.
What are you doing to earn money?
When you were in school, your dream was to study in your dream college. When you were in College your dream was to get dream job. But when you joined your dream job, your dream converts into money. I am not saying don’t earn money. But eventually what you are doing to earn money. You leave for office at 8AM and reached home at 9 PM. You leave your parents, relatives and friends behind, just to earn triple40.
Triple40: – You work 40 hours in a week upto 40 years for someone dream to get 40% of your income as pension after your retirement. AND AT LAST, your children inspire by you, leave you and fly away to earn another triple40.
One day, I saw a retired old man in the park looking sad with tears. I got to know by someone that his name was Harish. Is that Harish (whose’ dream was to earn more and more money). Immediately, I went to him and asked is your wife Monika dead? He replied, who cares for Monika, Rita is dead.
I asked the reason of his sadness.
Harish:- “I used to get up early in the morning with my wife….. Go to work…… eat dinner… sleep and then wake up again the next day to repeat the same cycle. We were not trying new things and lived the life within our comfort Zone in thinking of Money is only the dream. But still I am so poor that what I have is only Money. Did I really born to just live within my comfort zone. Was earning money my only dream?”
Ladies and Gentlemen, we know people in our lives who place an unhealthy emphasis on their comfort Zone and die in thinking whole life, earning Money is only the Goal. Some people die before they are actually die.
